CABLE Faculty

Ron Clark, M.S., R.N.

Ron is Chairman of the Board of Directors of CABLE, Inc. He retired as a sergeant after 23 years of service with the Connecticut State Police (CSP). Sergeant Clark was the first certified State Police Peer Helper/Instructor and was the commanding officer of the EAP/Medical Unit. He was a member of the CSP Tactical Team serving as an Advanced Life Support Medic for 15 years, the Senior Flight Nurse for CSP MedEvac (the precursor to Life Star) and coordinator of the CSP Surgeons and Chaplains Program.

Ron has always been an active advocate for the physical, mental and spiritual health of his fellow troopers and colleagues in law enforcement/public safety. He also helped to establish the first Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team in Connecticut and served as its President.

He holds a Master of Science in Counseling / Education and has been a Registered Nurse for the past 37 years. He is the current chairman of the Middlebury Police Commission and a member of the Board of Directors of the CT Alliance to Benefit Law Enforcement (CABLE), a research and education collaborative dedicated to the health and well being of law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.
